After nearly 30 years of blighting the neighbourhood with a weed infested pit, Mr Ansari has finally started work on replacing the missing building at 85 Brixton Hill with a “6 storey building (including lower ground floor) to provide 8 self contained flats”.
The planning application, originally submitted 12th May 2011, was finally signed off by the council on 11th April this year allowing building works to go ahead. More details can be found on the Lambeth web site by clicking here and this is what should be built:
