It’s time to sweep up the leaves, clear up the rubbish and get our street ready for its Winter slumbers. London and Quadrant are kindly supplying a skip and we are hoping Lambeth will be helping with tools, gloves, bags and equipment.
We have also bought 300 daffodils bulbs for residents to plant in the front gardens ready for a riot of colour next spring. These, plus equipment, will be available from outside number 1 Helix Gardens (next to the middle JAG notice board) from 10am onwards.
We are also planning to finally erect the No Parking signs which hopefully will ease the congestion problems, especially on the North side carriage-ways of Josephine Avenue.
“More hands make light work” as they say, so please help us keep this beautiful part of Brixton looking lovely.
