There was a chap from Bouygues working on the street lamps today so I thought I’d have a chat. He told me he was surprised our street was lit with low orange bulbs when we could be using much brighter “white light” bulbs. The issue of bad lighting has been raised many times with local councillors, and the Town Hall, who have repeatedly told us nothing could be done. JAG has emailed Lambeth Street Care for an explanation, so fingers crossed for some better lighting in future.
Also, good to see our litter bins back; over-flowing after the weekend (Lambeth have been notified) but this does illustrate how badly we need them. Better in a bin than our front gardens.
