Lambeth Council will be charging £7 a head to see the fireworks in Brockwell Park on Wednesday November 5th (or £6 if you book in advance at www.lambeth.gov.uk/events/fireworks). Cllr Jane Edbrooke, Cabinet member for Neighbourhoods, explained the new entrance fee had been introduced because of “pressures on the council budget” and also to reduce the numbers of people allowed into the park.
