The programme for the 2013 Herne Hill Music Festival, 11th to 19th October, is nearly complete. As well as the Festival Week, there will also be bandstand music at the Herne Hill Sunday Markets during the month of September.
October highlights will include blues and gypsy jazz players Alan Glenn & Steve Morrison, plus The Myke Masters Band, Territory, The Ben Croft Trio, the Andrea Trillo Trio, and Maxine Ryan with the Ingham Swing Ensemble. Venues include the Half Moon Pub, The Prince Regent, Saint Faith’s Centre and Michael Tippett School. On the 16th October the finalists of the Piano Trio Composition Competition will be performed by the Artdesamis Trio. The shortlisted pieces are: Half Moon Full Moon by Phil Taylor; Crónica de una decepción by Santiago Vidal; Without Ceremony by Bernard Hughes.
