First of all we would like to thank Brazas Restaurant for hosting this year’s JAG Annual General Meeting and thanks to everyone who came.
The evening proved productive with reports from residents and the committee covering finances, Street Cleans, Street Party, Parking, Web Site, Crime and Hedge Trimming.
Most importantly, our revised constitution was finally agreed and JAG is glad to welcome Brixton Hill residents to the Group. They too share issues of Rush Common and we are sure this new partnership will help strengthen our local community.
The present officers were re-elected (Chair – Tim Sutton, Secretary – Marion Woodward and Treasurer – Hillary Box), together with Frances Forrest and Nick Berry who volunteered to help organise the two street events, Urban Art and Street Party respectively.
The evening finished with food and wine and plenty more discussion on how we can help improve the area. For everyone who has done their part in 2014 we thank you on behalf of all the residents we represent.
