Brixton Buzz reports that Planning permission has been applied for demolition of the old Mango Landin’ bar in Brixton Water Lane and replaced with a four storey block of private flats and retail unit on the ground floor (another local supermarket no doubt).
This was predictable bearing in mind the number of original low rise building demolished for taller flats on that side of Brixton Water Lane. Maybe the reason the bar was closed in the first place?
