Lambeth’s new Food Bins have now arrived in Josephine Avenue and surrounding roads. Residents are required to put all food waste into these bins and put them out with the rest of the rubbish on collections days. To stop foxes opening the larger bin, raising the handle to the upright position locks the lid.
An alternative to using these bins (and save cluttering our pavements) would be to Home Compost. Lambeth have joined up with Straight plc who can supply residents with compost bins at reduced prices.
